- Where do I go for Leadership Classes?
Northstar: The Village Conference Rooms. These rooms are located opposite Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant. There will be a sign outside the conference room showing which one to enter.
- Does it matter where I take the Leadership Development Classes?
No. We encourage employees to choose the classes in whichever resort suits your schedule and try follow the suggested pattern of each program. It is also interesting to view different facilitator styles at different resorts.
- What do I get for taking Leadership Development Classes?
We encourage all employees to take ownership of their own development. Here at Vail Resorts, every employee is expected to be a leader. Therefore, the classes are a stepping stone to achieving success here at Vail Resorts. We hope that you will try tackling all of the leadership programs on offer as a means of guiding you on your career development path.
How do I sign up for Leadership Development Classes?

On this page, Click into whichever program you are interested in and there is a link provided beside each class date. Click the link and use your 6 digit employee ID number and password to log in. Then click 'Request.'
- What if I signed up but cannot make a class?
If you are unable to attend a leadership workshop that you are registered for, please remember to withdraw yourself directly on your LIFT transcript as soon as possible before day of class. We book conference space for each of our sessions, and need to have accurate registration numbers in advance.
To withdraw yourself from a session: Select “View Your Training” under the Training Tab on the LIFT Home Page. Find your session on your transcript, use the drop down arrow in the black box labeled “Options” to the right of the session, and select “Withdraw or Remove.”
