"I used to drive my car to work every day as a single occupant, putting over of 2000 miles on the engine in work commutes alone and contributing a metric ton of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere each winter. I started looking for people to carpool with and taking advantage of the TART bus system which runs by my house. Thanks to these changes, I have reduced my total miles driven to less than 50 this season (just 3 days total as a single occupant), which has reduced my carbon emissions from personal vehicle use by 97%.
